"Intimate Landscapes Portfolio"
Not the grand overview or vista, but rather layered descriptive values. The melding of background with foreground, the way each frame is pictorially structured, all combine to capture the moment when I felt a poignant sense of discovery. In terms of eastern philosophy, I feel these images represent an intertwined chi ( life force ). They are also an homage to American painter Elmer Schooley's work.

" And there is weather here, and seasons, so that hour by hour, month by month, it seems it could be almost only by our not moving that this air-moved, light moved, restless place could be called, as we did call it, the same place." - from The Changes by William Bronk
